Mykonos Island National Airport is served by some international airlines and charters that include Air Berlin, Atlas Jet (from Ataturk, Istanbul), Austrian Airlines, Blu-Express (from Rome Airport Fiumicino), Easy Jet (from Luton, London airport Paris Airport), Transavia (from Amsterdam Airport) Edelweiss Air (from Zurich), German Wings, Milan Malpensa, Thomson Airways (from Gatwick, London), Thomas Cook Airlines (Brussels, Belgium), among others. Most of these airlines operate during summer season.

The pulsating night life and beautiful landscape of the town of Mykonos invites thousands of tourists and therefore, the frequency of flights to Mykonos airport is ten per day during peak tourist season. Keeping in view the widespread popularity of this beautiful island, several European countries have now increased the number of charter flights to Mykonos airport.
